To make meaningful change in an environmental context we must measure our impact, determine and revise targets, integrate policies and programs into our culture and then measure again. Agrium focuses it’s primary efforts in three areas; air, water and land.

The primary tool we use to implement sound environmental practices is our Environment, Health, Safety & Security Management System. This program is audited to generate recommendations on areas of improvement. In addition to the measures we employ internally, we also abide by government and regulatory standards in the countries where we have operations. In all cases, Agrium meets or exceeds requirements, but as guidelines are subject to change, we are being proactive in making further change to minimize our impact.
